Day One: Tuesday, March 12th 2024


AFRICA GAMING EXPO 2024 commenced with registration of delegates and collection of event badges.
Afterwards, the AGE team, Speakers, Panelists and other participants paid a courtesy visit to the Oniru of Iruland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal, (Abisogun II).

Day Two: Wednesday, March 13th 2024

Discussions were held on the importance of collaboration amongst regulators, cooperation between regulators and operators in establishing responsible gaming standards, addressing mental health issues relating to gaming, using technology to promote responsible gaming, and the impact of gaming addiction in African gaming markets.
The importance of data protection and effective anti-money laundering measures were also emphasized. The goal is to ensure operators and regulators are in consonance in the area of responsible gaming. Activities during day two of the expo also covered the distribution of lottery prizes and discourse on the potential growth of the gaming industry in Africa.

The panel sessions discussed the crucial role of payment providers in ensuring secure transactions in the gaming industry. The innovative efforts of African payment providers to enhance speed and security were highlighted.
The importance of risk-scoring initiatives, a structured KYC framework and 2FA measure as key safeguards to protect customers were discussed. The significance of compliance in the financial system and the need for a strong security framework around block-chain technology were also emphasized.

Day Four: Friday March 15th 2024

The final day of the Expo was spent to experience the beauty and hospitality of Lagos, the City of Aquatic Splendor.
Participants spent the day on the beach after a visit to an Arts Gallery.
