Peter Emolemo Kesitilwe is the Chief Executive Officer of the Gambling Authority of Botswana, a state-owned enterprise that regulates all gambling activities in Botswana through the Gambling Act of 2012.

Peter’s main role as the CEO is to provide leadership in promoting the economic development of Botswana through the gambling sector-focused approach that is aligned with the strategy of Botswana Gambling Authority and Botswana’s national priorities, policies and strategies.

Cleveland Allen is an Attorney-at-Law called to the Bar in Jamaica and Barbados. Cleveland has experience in litigation, commercial and gaming law. He joined the Casino Gaming Commission in 2014 as Legal Officer and Commission Secretary.

During his tenure he was instrumental in providing the legal and corporate governance support for the development and implementation of the regulatory framework for the Commission. Cleveland subsequently joined the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission where he served as Senior Legal Officer.

John Erastus brings over a decade of experience in the tertiary education sector, having held roles such as Student Support Coordinator and Faculty Manager, where he oversaw academic and financial administration.

His leadership journey expanded into the gaming sector, serving as a Board Member of the Gambling Board of Namibia for three years before being appointed Acting CEO.

Yahaya Maikori

Yahaya is the Principal Partner of Law Allianz which he founded in 2008. He graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1992 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1994.

He has also been a member of the Law Society of England and Wales since 2013. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, entertainment law and commercial/corporate law. He generally advises company boards on corporate governance, tax and securities matters.
