Dr. (Barr.) Lady Obiageli Edith Amadiobi is the Director General/Chief Executive Officer of the National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP), an agency under the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Technology (FMIST), Nigeria.

Before her appointment, Dr. Amadiobi was a retired Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Strategy, Imo State, where she initiated dynamic policies that significantly supported the current administration.

Dr. Amadiobi boasts an impressive academic background, having studied at the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigerian Law School, Imo State University, Abia State University, and the Polytechnic, Nekede. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB BL), a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance, a Master’s degree in Financial Management, and a Doctorate degree in Financial Management.

She is affiliated with numerous professional organizations, including the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, the Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, the Nigerian Bar Association, the International Federation of Female Lawyers, and is a fellow of the National Institute of Marketers.

Dr. Amadiobi has a rich history of attending and contributing to national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops, earning numerous awards for her outstanding performance both in her career and community.

Her extensive education, professional qualifications, and over three decades of experience in the Imo State Civil Service, marked by hard work, integrity, and accountability, are expected to significantly contribute to her new role at NOTAP.
